I have to replace my intake air sensor. Can this be done without removing the UIM or do I have to remove it?

You can order another stock unit(~$60) or get /steal one from a friend (thanks Nocab!) and relocate it down the intake track. Make a harness/extentions for the plug.

Leave the current one in place, unclip the plug, and clip on the new one.
