stock fuel gauge never on full?
does anyone know anythin bout this?
whenever i fill up my FD, whether i let it fill till the pump stops on it's own, or whether i continue to top it off as much as i can w/o it spilling over, when i start the car, the fuel gauge NEVER is on the F (full mark). it's always slightly below it (ie, im not sayin a tiny bit below it, but more like there's a space about the size of the fuel gauge needle itself between the full mark, and where the needle actually falls)
it's not so much that this is a worry...but more like it just gets 2 me. this happen 2 anyone? or is my fuel gauge goin bad? i know the stock oil gauge isnt that good, but wut bout the fuel gauge?
thanx

Interesting. When I fill up my gas tank, I let it automatically stop and don't go over, I don't round up numbers or anything.
When I start up the car, the gauge needle is usually over F.

Maybe your Gas Tank float, sprung a leak..
Its real easy to check. about 10 bolts and whole
assembly comes out. Give it a look, and when
you upgrade your fuel pump, it will be a piece of cake.
Lift up your rear hatch carpet.. Fuel pump and assembly
on the Left handside with some tubes going in and
out of it, with about 8-10 screws.. Real easy..
Have fun
