Stock ECU and Power FC... Cases interchange?

Just like it says...

Since the FC doesn't come with mounting hardware... And the cases to the 2 ECUs appear to be similar... Has anyone taken the guts out of the FC case and put it in the Stock case... So that you can use the original mounting hardware?

Just wondering....

They are not the same size and that's a good way to screw something up.

Just take out your Dremel and cut a 1.5" square out of the top bracket to clear the Commander cable. Velcro the PFC to the bottom and top bracket. Done. You can even retain the original ground points this way.

You will also still be able to remount the stock ecu (if you have to....).

Ok... So I take it the PFC is SUPPOSED to have holes to bolt the OEM brackets to the case? Anyway thanks for the feedback guys!

No, it doesn't have any mounting holes. You have to velcro it to the brackets. It is very secure when mounted this way.

Garfinkle makes a mounting bracket from sheet metal and tie wraps it to the PFC and bolts it in the stock location, how easy is that ?
