Question Stock BOV question

Is the stock BOV supposed to release air while the car is sitting at idle?

Well when I am sitting at idle I can feel air coming out of the bov hose if I have it taken off of the intake. I dont usually run it like that, I just wanted to feel out of curiousity and now Im wondering if air is supposed to come out when the car is just sitting idling.

Yes, at idle, the stock ABV is venting some air. As you begin to transition from vacuum into boost, it will close and allow the car to build boost.
