Question stock axles weight

Can someone tell us the exact weight of each steel stock axle.

(Sadly, at this time we don't have one laying around in the shop to weigh it ourselves...sorry)

Looking into drivetrain options...
Chromoly axles will provide the obvious strength benefit but do they provide a weight benefit as a bonus? Are they lighter, same weight, or heavier than stock? The answer seems to vary for the different manufacturers we have checked.

Thanks.

the density of steel is constant. a lump of 4140(CrMo) will weigh the same as lump of 1020 the same size.

the only way you would get a weight advantage is if the axle was made to smaller dimensions.
