Stock Air Box?

On the right side of my stock airbox their is a hose nipple which is putting out positive pressure while the car is running. should this be connected somewhere or just venting to atmosphere...

It doesn't connect to anything, just vents underneath the box. Nothing to worry about.

Usually there is a hose connected to it that vents under the box. It probably doesn't make much difference if it is connected or not.
