Stock & Aftermarket Temp Sender Swap?

Hey I know i'm beating this dead horse of a topic, but what do you guys think about putting my aftermarket temp sender in the stock location, and relocating the stock one to the thermostat housing? I don't care about the reading of the stock sensor, but I still want it to function (as best as i can). Whatcha think?

That's what I did. Works good. I have the GReddy temp guage. I just left the stock sender hanging there.
