stock 94 FD vs 99 Vette coupe

how would the turn out of a stock 94 FD vs a stock 99 corvette coupe automatic transmission?

or what about a 94 FD with dp,apexi N1 exahaust, pettit ecu and M2 intake vs 99 stock corvette coupe with automatic transmission?

The RX would be running aprox: 290 - 300 rwhp. And it would kill the Vette. But the Rx has to be in top running condition. With
Vacuum lines in place and a proper running set of turbos....
best wishes... jc

im pretty sure the FD and auto C5 are the same in acceleration. (0-60 in low 5's) that all depends on the driver.

the modded FD will destroy the auto C5.

stock vs stock,
the FD would lose.
They have similar 0-60, but the C5 has a better quarter
mile, and thats what really counts in straight lining.

Modded FD's are scary fast though! run and hide! now!!!

I had a guy in a new 2001 Vette (manual) still with the dealer tags, want to run me and I took about 2 lenghts from 20-80mph. My 94 was all stock and so was the Vette, it was all in the driver because that car should have pulled me a little.

I kept up with a manual C5 from a stop when all I had was intake and catback. Actually, he only gained about 1/2 a car (damn torque) but then that was that. We were even from there on.

Stock the FD would lose but with a few mods, like the ones listed you should be able to pull a little on him. Now what I want to run with are the Z06's!!

this matchup will come down to who is the better driver. i have betten cars that are faster than my 93fd only because i'm a better driver than they are. believe me i know about this situation greatly because i work at a gm dealer and have test driven many new vette's and camaros and i will tell you this, stock for stock with drivers of equal ability the fd has no chance, but with mods it's a whole new ballgame.

93fd 13.5@101mph bone stock with problems

87tII soon to be racing
