I just ordered some new ones for my primary injectors after having trouble getting them in. Last time I tried hooking up the K2RD 2nd rail they didnt fit down untill i took the diffusers out. Is this a common problem or do i just need to push them down futher.

My mechanic leaves the top in place . The ring with the rubber seal .He cuts the 3 legs off and filles the nibs smooth . The extra volume and force can break the diffusers and the engine does not like to eat that hard plastic .

 

get some hose, cut a short piece and slide it around the injectors.... diffusers out... I'm going to smooth out the runners for the 2ndaries so there is no blow back from them... food for thought for you
FWIW make sure you don't drop anything down that hole once they are out
