Steering problem

Hey guys, I am having some problems with my steering. The car will not go straight at all. It will pull stongly to the left. Also if i let the car roll, I can feel my steering wheel kinda twitching left to right. Like wobbling for lack of a better word. Any idea what this could be?

Had the car aligned recently and tyres rotated.
Thanks

Did this happen before the alignment and rotation? Usually, its the changes that cause the problems. First, try to lift the front end and grip the tires from the side and top moving them back and forth to see if theres any play to see if bushings or the steering system might need replacing. Second, look at the tires themselves to see if they are separated, irregular wear patterns, etc. Running your hand on the tread helps to feel for any irregularities if any but careful of sharp objects since it might even be a leak in your tire causing the pull. While your at it you can spin the tires to see if you have brake drag. (might be more noticeable with the wheels off for this part). Just look over carefully at these things and then look over your printout from the shop to see if the alignment was done correctly or "within spec". Hope this helps you.

It happened before alignment and rotation. I rotated the front tires to rule out a tire problem. If a tire was bad then the car would have pulled to the opposite side right? That did not happen, the same problem existed.
The guys that did the alignment inspected the suspension and said everything looked good.

A while ago one i bent the lip on one of my rims but had it repaired (pothole). The guy that balanced the wheel said he saw a slight bend but nothing of concern. Could that be the problem?

What should be my next step?

The rim could just be off balanced and that would be cause of vibrations but no pulling. Also has the car been reinforced or anything about the car history that might be of concern? (like sway bars, lowering, etc)

Well the advice I can give now could be due to more complicated matters of alignment. Depending on the year of your FD 93-94 and 95 have different setup specs, I'm sure you can find those. You might look at your rear axle to see if the toe is centered properly since that will be your "thrust angle" and that will dictate the forward drive especially in a RWD. Since the 4 wheel alignment theory is making sure the front end is correct based on the alignment of your rear.

In addition, a rear brake drag might cause this pulling as well, even though I have never seen it personally.

If you happen to have the printout handy look at SAI and included angle, if those are out of spec you might have bent parts even though the overall alignment looks okay. These are used as diagnostic angles and helps to fix parts that might of been overlooked.

Even more advance is might take it to a shop dedicated to alignment and have them look at corner weights and bump steer. Not too sure what more I can offer but much luck to you getting your problem remedied.
