Steam Cleaning
I am new to the rotary experience, just wondering if some one can tell me more about this steam cleaning idea... as in the desired benefits and proper procedure.

Welcome to rx7club, I'd like to impart some critical knowledge on you... (you might not learn this by posting eight periods in the "Post here to increase your post count" thread...)
Learn to use the "Search" function, an integral part of this forum.
I promise, if you EVER have a question the first thing you should do is utilize the "Search" function. I'm willing to bet you a spare set of twins that somebody else has had the same question before, and asked.
That being said, a quick search of "steam clean" brought this thread up on the first page: https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...ht=Steam+Clean which in turn led to https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...ht=steam+clean and http://www.rotaryresurrection.com/2n...injection.html

It's not technically difficult. On the passenger side of your upper intake manifold (UIM) are two vacuum ports. Either one is used to injest distilled water into the running engine using a section of vacuum hose. This requires the throttle be manipulated to keep the car running and you should keep an eye on the exhaust as it will drastically raise exhaust temps.
Opinions on the recommended frequency of the procedure, amount of water to be used and possible consequences vary. Read through those threads linked above and do a search for more info and decide for yourself.
And welcome.
