To stay or let her go...
So I've been contemplating on the idea of letting go my RHD 93 R1. I just can't seem to justify keeping her at the moment or find a true reason to let her go. She is stock red with new refinished paint and body in 2012, non sequential twins, has a re amemiya fiber glass hood, apexi intake, blitz boost gauge, recaro replica racing seat and tien coils right now. Has 133k on her (77k miles) and her compression checked at 117 118 on her rotors.also has a japanes exhaust on her unknown brand. I also have a complete greddy turbo setup minus the fuel system new ccoil covers, custom 3-4 inch turbo back, zenky gauges (water, turbo, oil p,voltage, oil temp) kaaz 2way diff a feed replica front bumper and stock rims with winters. Just iin case anybody is interested. I have her in storage which I am paying for yearly storage until March of 2018 then she can be shipped legally back. This was suppose to be my toy but iI don't think I have the patience anymore to wait that long. It would be well worth it but again iI'm drawing impatient. What do y'all think?

Is this car in Japan? If so I would sell it and get something else, why the hell wait till 2018 to enjoy it? Just seems like a really long time to wait. Also how much is the storage costing you yearly to hold it? If your in the states I would sell and just buy one here, and if you don't like that idea then move on and get a bike to enjoy. I honestly don't see any point in owning a RHD car in the states, RHD cars are a little more common now days and lots of people swap to RHD for some reason. I think the whole RHD "JDM tight" thing is outplayed already. Also I don't think your being impatient, I would rather sell and enjoy something else, waiting 4 more years is just crazy.

Well storage isn't really killing me at all. But my purpose of owning my RHD is I've paid about 10K to includ everything I've bought and I've done to it plus storage cost. For that price I'd get a bone dry car in half as good condition here with 100k miles+ on it. its not about the JDM tight trend I do enjoy my Rhd a lot more then lLHD. Also*II'm active duty so iI may end up back in japan.

Well if it's not too expensive and you think you can wait go that route. I've seen an FD in the DFW area that is certified to drive, he was in the military too, but not sure what he had to go through to get it legal.

How the hell can you even say ridiculous crap like this? You enjoy sitting on the other side of the car than you've grown up with that much more? I'm sorry this sounds absurd to even make that kind of a claim. It's a car, who gives a crap what side the steering wheel is on? If your living in Japan, well then I get it. But trying to go through the hassle of bringing that to the states for some kind of quasi-bragging JDM rights is just silly.
Sell it for god sakes.
