starting trouble
i was wondering if anyone can help with my situation with starting my 93 fd3s? starting the car cold starts easily but after driving a few minutes...the car has a difficulty of starting immediately...it takes about 4-5 tries to get the car started... is it the key? the starter? or the fuel pump? just can't figure this out...

by 4-5 tries you mean it turns over but will not start for 4-5 attempts? how many miles? compression test done recently if ever? if the motor checks out mechanicly then i would look at the fuel temp sensor and the fpr solenoid and fpr.

My car did this when my coolant seals went out. Not a fun thing as it requires a rebuild. Test for it and do a compression check and get back to us. Hopefully there isn't a major problem.
