Starting problems

Oksy I know starting problems is common with an rx7 so I need some tips of what to try next... Now it starts but it just takes some cranking to get it started, and I have to give it gas or it wont start...

Heres what Ive replaced:
Coils leading and trailing, spark plug wires, spark plug just 7's for trailing and 9's for leading but am thinking about trying all for 9's, starter, battery, and the alternator...

Anyone have any ideas???

How many miles? Run a compression test and that might point to some of your problems.

Mine would just take a little wihle to crank, but I believe it was due to my shitty sparkplug change. The jury is still out will know soon. If your car runs fine after getting it started then I see no reason why it would be a bad motor. A compression test would show how strong its running, but I really hope c00lduke isn't saying your motor is kaput.

Not kaput but low compression certainly can cause starting issues. As well, "If it starts it is" fine might also be true to some extents but not all. With your FD how does one go about doing a shitty sparkplug change?

Was the first time and didn't torque them down correctly.

it has a rebuilt motor with only about 600 miles on it... The compression is fine its just like it doesnt get that strong of a spark... But I change the spark plugs all the time way... But it seems when I change them it takes forever for it to start the first time, weird?
