has anyone evr had and issue where it takes like three tries for the starter to kick in. i have replaced the starter 2 times and have no idea where to go next.

Check your battery.If you don't have a battery charger then drive around at night and step on the brakes and watch to see if the instrument lights dim.If they do then it could be a bad battery that isn't holding a good charge. Heat from the engine is really hard on the battery. I have to replace mine every couple of years.
