starting issues

In the morning especially now that its getting colder it seems like I am having starting issues. I have to turn the key over about 10 -15 time sometimes while pumping the gas to get it started. During the rest of the day it runs fine. Every once in a while, and so far it has only happened twice, if it sits for about 6-8 hours and cools it happens again. I know the pump is working because I hear it and ive checked the fuel going to the motor. I know Im running a little rich but if my motor was flooded I wouldnt have to pump the gas to get it started, would I? Anyway this start up issue is driving me nuts...any help would be appreciated.

Have you tryed adjusting the cranking injection time vs water temp in the PFC? I had to turn mine down to get the car to start instantly when cold.
