Starter solenoid lead/wiring harness
Hi guys,
My FD won't start, I've done some troubleshooting, and narrowed it down to the starter solenoid lead, (its not getting any juice), So it can be push started, or started with a jumper cable directly from the positive terminal to the solenoid lead. The manual says the problem is the starter switch, clutch interrupt switch, or the wiring harness, I've cleaned out the starter switch using instructions I've found on this forum, and it didn't look to be too bad, clutch switch works, so that leaves me with the wiring harness, and it's difficult to see where the lead actually goes, does anyone know where the lead routes and areas where it may break/melt etc?
any help/advice would be great

unplug the clutch interrupt switch (the one closer to the firewall) and apply voltage the one of the two terminals of the connector, try both but its the right one if u are looking at the connection side, make sure the tranny is in neutral, that should tell u where the problem is, usually the starter switch.

+1 For same problem as first poster. cleaned the starter switch, checked grounds and terminals but just cranks and never starts whether warm or cold. Push starts perfectly fine and can jump start with a big truck or large vehicle not with small vehicles. any help narrowing this down would be extremely helpful
