i think i striped the threads on the starter solenoid somehow , and just wanted to make sure before i order a new one , there are no threads on the top half of the post that the harness bolts to and i can't tighten the nut to make a good connection. thanks

 

Stripped .Put the cable on first then the nut that holds the stud in place if there are enought threads remaining .
