Starter Does Nothing ! ! ! ! Did search (Nothing)

Well went to the weekly car meet last night. Stopped by Mickey D's and got dinner, pulled into parking lot left the car & A/C runing ate dinner. After eating I shut the car off went to rest room and when I returned I had coolant on the ground. (no big deal been coping with an O-ring problem) wated around awhile and decided to go get a drink. Put key in pushed in clutch and turned it to start the car......NOTHING no click no buzz NOTHING. checked fuses none blown, suaspect clutch switch but not sure yet....could it be the starter it self. Battery is less than a year old so I need to know if any one else had this happen and what they found. Only have stock alarm and not boost controller. Help appreciated, Jack

Mine is having a intermittent start problem, that is smilar. If I listen carefully, I do hear a relay click when I turn the key to start. I am very suspicious that it is the starter solenoid. If all your lights are not dim when you start, try metering the start wire on the starter when someone turns the key to start. If you have power there, it's definately something in the starter.

Thanks Yellowbird,
I'll pull the starter and have it checked then go from there. I was hoping someone already had this problem and and could tell me what it may be for sure. Jack

Start problem intermitten

Well following the logic it broke on it's own and it'll fix it self on it's own seemed to work. I went out to start the car (sitting two days now) and it acted like it was going to contiue on without starting. i only turned the key on one time it hesitated and then jumped to life.....switch, bad starter, still to be determined. Thanks for the replies, Jack
