starter bolt broken/thread problem

ok I was trying to take the starter out today and now the (top) bolt
doesn't seem to come off.. I does turn, but it doesn't move at all..
anybody have any ideas on how to proceed from here? I think the
thread is f*ck.d.

I don't like to do any more damage.. so I hope there's some solution
to this?

Rob

Put a 14mm wrench on the nut in the back.

yikes...
I was already trying from the back..
I thought (think) that bolt goes into the block
(no nut on the other side)..

or is there a d0h moment about to come up..
in that case I really should have stayed home today

There should be two bolts (IIRC) holding the starter on. You remove them from the tranny side.
