stalling sputtering new one on me

Damnit. Well this may be the big one My car has started idle like crap once again. It's sounding like the first time it went. So it's idle is terrible but it used to run really well once it got going and I don't notice any power difference under boost. However, it's started to do something unsuspected. Now once I get on the gas it stutters really badly and jerks around. It backfires really loudly but if I let off the gas it calms down. It's not RPM dependant as I can rev it up to 7K OK but not with too much throttle. If I push the gas very much past 10-20% it sputters? Any idears guys?? Thanks

MAP/Boost sensor. Make sure the hose didn't pop off.

Yeah I did check that first but that wasn't it. I also looked at the clutch switch.. It's the motor I'm sure it's gone. Well It's be up for sale soon if anybody wants it.
