Steve has tuned countless FDs with all kinds of setups and he made that comment to me during my last dyno session----at the same boost, BNR3s and Greddy T-78 dyno graphs look very similar. If you want a smaller single that will make less power and spool sooner, than that is one good reason to run the single.

To answer your last point, back when I made the decision to try the new 3s out non-seq, I was sick of all the seq components and associated potential boost problems, and wanted to make 400+ rwhp without spending an arm and a leg. My setup has definitely satisfied those requirments. Although I will admit the thought of switching back to seq and having boost at 3000 rpms has entered my mind.....I just wish it wasn't so much of a pain in the ***

The BNRs used to use dynamic seals, but I think Brian ran into some problems with them and switched back to the carbon seals. Unfortunatley you are unable to use synthetic oil with the carbon seals.

I need to call Bryan up and see if he will offer them with a dynamic seal option to the general public. It's funny, I went with dynamic seals to help spool up but I'm not really sure that has been the case. Evidently the carbon seals have problems with smoking out the exhaust when you run synthetic, but since I vented my crankcase I havent had any smoking problems running synthetic.

Thanks for the kudos guys. I've always stayed away from the 'turn your FD into a scarab beetle' crowd with all of the slits/vents/gills/huge metal wing etc stuff
