Add lube to the clutch piston going through the firewall behind the pedal.

Do you have a mushy pedal or a tought time getting the car in gear?

Your fluid is probably ok.

ok... a little off topic here, but I'm having this same problem on my truck ('92 6cyl toyota pickup). it doesn't have a mushy pedal, but it DOES have a little trouble going into gear sometime. it's fine on fluid though. the squeak sounds like it's coming from around the bellhousing somewhere. any ideas?

again... sorry for the off-topicness, but someone else brought it up so I thought I'd chime in.

bearing might be sticking to the presser plate. in that case you need to replace it

Could be the input shaft on the tranny has dried out. The throw-out bearing slides back and forth on that shaft when you press the clutch in, if it dries out... I just pulled off the inspection window cover from the bellhousing, put some grease on a stick, and got it that way a few days ago, it made a huge difference in feel! Mine didnt squeak but I could imagine in some cases it may make noise.
