DAMN!!! I love my stock wing. Not to big but just enough to accent the car. Don't care for FD that doesnt have any wing, except if it has a widebody kit. I dont think I'll ever put a kit on my car, just the 99 fron end.

I don't know...but the dam stock spoiler makes the FD look like a Ford Taurus....I would live it with no spoiler...but If you decide to get one....then you know you would want to do the whole sha-bang...sort of like the engine....upgrade one thing....you have to upgrade other things...Good LUCK

I was considering taking of my stock spoiler too. Everyone kept telling me not to though. I'm reconsidering it now . Mainly because of how good saxyman990's car looks without it.

R1Outcast: heh heh, I'm really sorry man. I didn't mean to make you change your mind. Just don't feel too bad, your not the only one that has told me something like that. Thanks for the compliment though!

I seriously like yours the way it is though. Those wheels are tight!

I love FD's without spoilers. Though if you end up decided to go with a spoiler, the stock ones are the most fitting imo.

I like the look of my wingless FD everywhere but from right behind. The back looks so plain without one. I'm gonna get a wing. Very in between several, but I don't want a big bolt on alumium and CF GT race wing blah blah whatever those lemansy things are called officially. Unless your car is true bad *** under the hood, I think it's kind of ricey. I think you put those big shopping cart wings on slower cars to make em look fast (ie honda civc) but if your car is already fast, whats the point? Now if you have a whole kit and mad engine mods, its totally bad ***.....I'm thinkin feed adjustable

Aerodynamically, wings are out. All the latest Ferraris and the Lamborghini Murcielago don't have 'em. Even the new 200+ mph Enzo Ferrari doesn't have one. The clean look, without too many appendages, is in.
(actually, a lot of the advances in aerodynamics are moving under the car, utilizing the venturi effect, etc.)

I don't like the fd w/o a wing. some cars that are designed w/o wings look silly with wings (C5 and MB CLK come to mind), while others that are designed with wings don't look go w/o them (fds, GDA WRXs, & SN95 mustangs come to mind).

but, I don't like the stock wing. mostly because it causes a lot of drag w/o generating any downforce. the whole shape of the wing is wrong. I dig the 99 J-Spec as well as the traditional gt style wing. but, imo if you are going to go with a gt wing, you had better have the goodies under the hood to back it up.

my 2 cents...

I like the FD w/o the wing. I guess I like the car as clean as possible and a spoiler just seems busy on the back of the car. If i were to choose a spoiler it would be the stock spoiler because it is less flashy than the others.

no wing for me...think it looks cleaner..plus i don't go 120+ mph so they're useless to me.

I can't decide if I like wing or no wing better. I have never been a fan of spoilers in general, the kind I like best are integrated into the body itself (a la Viper GTS) so it flows in a continuous line. The farther the style deviates from that the worse I like it, so GT style wings are the worst. However, I think the tail of the FD is a little low, so the stock spoiler adds a little visual "rise" to the back that I like. However, I got my car already with the spoiler, if it didn't have one, I wouldn't add one.
