That has to be my favorite 7 of all time. I think mazda just needs to bring the 7 back in the 99 spec body style and be done with it. We dont need any other body adjustments. That 1 is perfect!

FD is the model designation for the 3rd generation RX-7.

FD series was 92 - 02, although your U.S market only sold them from 92-95.

REgards

Just for kicks since your new, FC RX-7 = 86-91

Man I love those seats!

Were they ever sold as an aftermarket option? Bet they'd cost a fortune!

No. It ended August 02.

I've got the DVD showing the last one rolling off the line and the press event they had the same time.

What do you mean no rats nest? I've pulled an engine from a Snow White Pearl Mica 00RZ front clip, yeah, there are minor changes in the engine bay, but the removal of the nest is not one of them.

I would think it would be easier to get one of these legalised in the US than a skyline since the FD was actually sold in the US. Unlike the Skydog GTR which wasn't ?

Also in theory you could swap dashes with a left hooker ? and change all the bits thats are needed for US spec.

And have the world only LHD 99 spec ;-)
