But Spirit R's are nothing they are common muck !!!! See I have one sitting outside.

There are 1500 units........ in the world.

a RZ Limited WOW !!!! Thats rare 175 units only in the world.

Hey I have one of those too :P

RZ is 10 times better than a Spirit R !!!!

actually, the MY 2000 Type RZ's were limited only to 175 cars. the first RZ was 300

personally, i prefer that RZ to the Spirit R, 'cuz of its extreme rarity and the clean look of the white color

the rarest FD is the type II RZ (93) - only 150 made. Last RZ (type VI) was a 300 unit production run.

spirit R = 1500 cars

That's not uncommon. Silver and grey are particularly affected by the substrate to which they're applied; sheet metal and urethane yield different effects. That, or Mazda still has some crap-*** paint for exclusive use on 7's.

no it's not! 175

here's from mazda's own press release:

The limited edition RX-7 Type RZ is equipped with red custom full-bucket seats manufactured by Recaro, a custom suspension system manufactured by Bilstein, and custom aluminum wheels manufactured by BBS. These and other enhancements reduce the overall weight of the Type RZ by approximately 10kg, improving handling and performance. The Type RZ has a custom body color snow white pearl mica. Only 175 units of this limited edition model will be sold.

actually, they use different paints on the sheetmetal and bumpers. the bumper paint has that flex material that allows the paint to flex and bend w/o cracking, and the color is just so slightly different due to that

the reason people thinks there are 300 is because mazda states that they planned to sell them at a rate of 300 per month. Thats not saying that they were gonna sell 300, just that, that is the rate of sales. Whos to say they cant sell them at a rate of 300 per month for only a little more then half a month.
