When I accelerate hard starting in first gear, by the time i'm shifting to third the speedo says that i'm only doing 80 km per hour. My blitz power meter says i'm doing over 100 km per hour. It annoys me. Before the power meter I thought my car was really slow because the speedo is off. If I accelerate like a normal person then it will keep up. Has any one had this problem or noticed it. Its a brand new speedo. Thanks.

I know you can't be hitting 60mph in first.

 

No i'm not hitting 60mph in first. By the end of second gear I am hitting 60mph though.

I have the same problem but much worse. I can be going 70 and it will only show 25. It is really slow. Mine started happening after I accidently removed the pin that holds the gauge needle when I was putting white face gauges on. If anyone has an idea please let me know. I have no idea how fast I am going.
