the problems just dont end.

any way the grip for the speedometer near the trans was off, which i hooked back up today...now the car cuts the fuel at 100km/h. i talked to the guy that wired my engine...he said theres some wire called the (pulser)? which if i cut will do away with any spped cuts.

any help here would be appreciated. right now i can either drive without knowing what the speed is or not go above 100.

 

Are you talking about the Speed Limiter or are you having standard fuel cut?

If your boost is spiking like in your other post, you may just be getting fuel cut. However, if you are referring to the Speed Limiter:

speed limit in jdm cars is suposed to be at 160 (or was it at 180?)
Fuel cut feels almoust the same has speed cut.....

 

hmm thanks for the link...im sure it dosent have to do with boost spike because it cuts exactly at 100km. even if ur in 5th.

 

dude i cut the green and red wire and the rpm stopped working. and ther are quite a few red and green wires back there.....theres one light green and red one too! my ECU code is N2G3b.

 

Either:

1. You cut the wrong wire (very likely)
2. You aren't experiencing the Speed Limiter but have a different problem
