Specifics - Ground Strap How-to?
I have the mad bull bucking problem under 3k at night with the lights on but i have not been able to find a good how to on how to reattach or add a new ground strap. Does anyone know of one?
Where does the strap attach to on both ends? What does it look like? WHat is best to use to replace it? Is it better to replace or just add another? Where are all the ground points in the car? Where does it show them in the service manual?
The most i have learned is that i should sand down the place where i attach is so it will conduct well. Spell it out for me. Please help out the ignorant (beginner)!

i don't have the part with me but i do have the pettit free kit, you can call and they will send you one. I believe it goes from the negative terminal frmo the battery to the driver side strut tower. There should be a hole already there, you just need to sand the area and install. Hope this helps.

This won't necessarily fix your problem. I have this ground, and replaced all the other grounds with the new ones listed in the TSB's. Still has same problem.
The problem will temporarily go away when you disconnect the battery, but it will probably come back. The important ground may be the one hardest to get to, the one under the intake for the fuel injection...
