spearco water injection?

hey guys, i have been looking into a water injection system for a little while now. I really want a aquamist system, but definately do not have the money to purchase one. I recently ran into a guy in my town who has just got a business account with turbonetics/spearco and he is willing to give me his price on the system, which he says is less then a hundred bucks. Do you think it is worth it for me to buy this system, he also says he will install it for me for nothing. what can i expect from the system as for gains in reliablility and power? I want to be able to bump the boost up, but i am running a stock intercooler at 12 pounds right now. What do you guys think i can get this system tuned at as far as boost?

Seems like a good price.

As for performance check out Zerobanger's thread and I think luv94rx7 or something like that's thread.

As for there setup...do you have any more information? Do they have a website with a description?

spearco water injection systems are crap. This is why we have the DIY system. the nozzles are very low quality and the spearco system uses a pressurized water tank that stays at manifold pressure.

For a little less than the Spearco you can build your own and have a better system. The best systems you can buy are the Aquamist systems, but they are very expensive and complex to install.

My opinion from all my research, if money is not an issue to the Aquamist system. If you want to prevent detonation and have the same results as the aquamist, make your own.

from all the web pages and info I found, the DIY system came about to fill the void between the cheap low-end spearco and the expensive and complex Aquamist.

BTW, Aquamist makes the best systems I recommend them if you dont want to do the DIY. trust me, spearco is a pos.
