what do these connectors go to?

i was installing my miata thermosensor and came accross two connectors that weren't plug in to anything. one is a 2-wire grey male and one is 2-wire blue female. they will plug into each other but i don't think they go together. i believe the grey male goes to the removed air pump. but the blue female has go me stumped. please help if you can. i will try to attach pic. thanks!

well i can't post the pic. for some reason it opened a empty thread and when i try to attach pic. it says that the pic already exist. but obviosly it doesn't.

anyway these connectors are between the uim and the water pump housing. if you can help without the pic. it would be appriciated. thanks!

The gray connector is for your air pump, which I'm guessing you've removed many moons ago

The blue is for automatics - probably never was any use to you....

The blue one is actually for the EGR system. IIRC, Cali cars have these hooked up.
