I installed the Magnecore 8.5MM set a little more than a year ago. Car had just under 63K miles then. I had just had my first, and only case of flooded engine. I found one of the orignal wires was showing higher resistance. Not really bad yet, but I wanted to make sure.

I liked the Magnecore wires alot. They were well made and fit correctly. Found it necessary and much easier to remove the throttle body to install the wires.

Is there any reason not to use stock wires? I have to buy these soon, and have been wondering if I should get a set from Mazda, or pick up some of the Magnecore wires. Will the Magnecore wires really provide a hotter spark? At the moment, I'm all stock, but I do plan a host of mods in the near future.

Thanks,
