U cant gap the BUR9EQP and BUR7EQP.
And how did u determine that it is misfiring?

Well, the stock plugs are 7's for the Leading, and 9's for the trailing. But the important thing is to find plugs that fit your current mods. What mods do you have now?

I wouldn't bother with iridium plugs. You need to change the things so often in a rotary that those are just way to expensive.

Lets never say BPU on an rx-7 forum again, thats a supra thing.

But anyway, 9's all around should be fine.

r u referring to Magnacore? these wires interfer with ECU trips. The EMF is insulation on the wires r not effective. during HIGH RPM it interupts the ECU signals.

Taylor plugs work fine and have less impedance that most cables. Many Houston owners have been using them for over 5 years with excellant results. Crane Hi-6 and Taylors is a great package with no misfiring.

I also run NGK B9EGV at .020" gap. Requires special socket.

That's a load of crap....

I've been using them for over 2 years without any problems.

I agree with Mahjik. Been on Magnecor wires almost 2 years myself. Someone needs to show some proof before they go spouting off bad info..

I've never heard anything bad about Magnecor wires. I don't have them myself, so I don't have any first hand experience, but a few friends of mine have had them for 1-2 years and had no issues.
