Manuel calls for 2-BUR7EQP for leading and 2-BUR9EQP for trailing. But since u live a warm climate year around I would recommend going with the BUR9EQP for all four plugs. Thats what I'm using and I'm in Texas which during winter is a little cooler than Miami. Thats what alot of the rotorheads on the forum use, since the 9's are a colder plug. Some say the 9's are more prone to fouling, it may be true if u shift all the time at 2k. I ran my last set of 9's for the leading for about 8k and pulled them to inspect them and I noticed alot less carbon buildup and electrode wear, and my 7 is a daily driver. I also usually shift at about 3k but do ocassionaly shift at about 6500k but thats all it usually takes to beat them blue ovals and bowties! Another note..u should change your plugs about every 12k to 15k depending on your driving habits. If u have anymore Qs let me know..Tony

Oh forgot to mention....u can get the plugs at any Mazda Dealer about 7 or 8 bucks a piece. If u think those prices are steep....get used to it just about everything on the 3rd gen is expensive...but in the end its all worth it when u dust the domestics.
