Spare Engine used for NS conversion

I've had my car in the garage for two years before I decided to redo the vac lines and change the metering oil pump to get it started. I lucked out in getting a JDM full engine and tranny for $1200.00 (BTY-They have a Efini with an auto tranny for $2000.00) I have pulled all the parts I need of the spare motor and the car ran great. THanks Cam from Petit Racing. I though I would try the poor man NS just to see what all the noise is about. It seems fine with the exception of one problem, somehow boost greats blown off at 9psi to 6psi then back tp 9psi and so forth. I am not using a boost controller. My real questions are as follows:
1. If I modify the spare exhaust manifold and intake to be complete NS can this perform equal to purchasinga single TOE manifold.
2. Which performs better as a BOV, the stock bov or the stock crv? And should I modified the spare intakes to remove the stock bov and install an aftermarket one (or two) on the IC pipes?
3. Will welding the pre-control shut improve spooling?
4. Finally, when I modify the spare exhaust manifold will welding a dividered plate help spool time.

Please don't consider this post as a newbie dumbass. I have followed the forum for two years and searched for someone welding and modifying a stock manifold with no luck.

Thanks in advance to all who help.

1. Don't really understand the question... Do you mean will the full non-seq twins perform like a TO4E?

2. Both are the same in NON-SEQ. You can eliminate the CRV and BOV and use an aftermarked BOV on the IC piping, yes, but you don't have to. The stock BOV is fine.

3. Cut door out and weld hole. Or did I read that wrong?

4. I don't think modding the stock RESTRICTIVE manifold in anyway will improve spooling. I could be wrong though...

Yes, the question is will NS twins work as well as a single turbo. I know it depends on the turbo specs but lets assume its a standard T60-1.

Also, the stock bovs seem to leak and somehwere someone said the stock crv can hold more boost.

I was also wondering about welding a divider plate in the exhaust manifold and the y-pipe to seperate follows until the IC pipe. I can do this mod myself with the spare parts. Anyone have an opinion on this mod.

why would you want to go non sequential? Here I'll paint a picture. You floor it...as it gets to 3000 you get out of vacuum barely, 3500 ~ 5psi, near 4000 full boost 10-12 psi depending on what you run. That's all there is to it. It holds till redline. if you punch it at anything from 4k above you get full boost right away. Smooth power band from 4k and on. There isn't that much lag but it's very smooth not as exciting as the transition I don't think and it's probably a lot more fun with sequential in city driving. The only categories non seq wins is reliability and no ******* vacuum lines and **** in the engine bay! Those are pretty important haha
