Sparco seat mounting + harness mounting points

Hey everyone, I have a Sparco Sprint seat that I'm planning on mounting in my FD. I would like the seat to be lower than stock and thus don't want to reuse the stock seat rails. (Yes it's one of the new side mount seats, not bottom mount.) What are my options? I ran a search, but couldn't find very much info. Seems like everyone simply reuses the stock sliders. FYI I do have brackets that I can mount the seat to, just not sure what to attach the brackets to.

And on a related note, since I will be replacing the sliders, which is also where the seatbelts are mounted to (or at least that's my understanding), what can I do for harness mounting points? I'll be using a six-point Sparco harness. On my track car (Porsche 944) I simply drilled holes in the floorpan and attached Sparco's provided eye bolts, with a plate behind the nut acting as a big washer. But I'm not sure if that's an option with an FD or not. Any ideas? What're your thoughts? I'm really not happy with the stock seating position...my legs are disproportionately long compared to my arms, so if I scoot the seat back to where my legs are comfortable, my arms are too far away. Not to mention that the steering column doesn't tilt in my car, so the steering wheel hits my legs. I plan on doing seat, steering wheel and harness all at the same time to get the perfect seating position for me.

i used my stock slider and then made some brackets with just high steel strips, simple and sit low. since you already have the bracket just use the oem sliders, drill new holes and fit it.

Eye bolts for belts will fit into stock seat beat bolt holes (I seem to remember that a threaded hole existes on trans. tunnel). Shoulder straps need to mount at a close to horziontal angle to roll bar/cage bracing. Only hole I needed to make was for the 5 point crotch strap, I bored out the floor mat bolt hole; but you have 6-point so are set.

you could try bride or recaro seat rails. I know bride makes a set for the fd and the low max system works on some non bride seats. as far as mounting the seat belt I welded a bar between my rear strut towers but that was just a quick solution I am hoping to get a full 6+ point cage welded in this winter when i do the full rebuild
