Question Sort of Hissing Noise -- Need Advice

OK, everything seems to be working after my dad and I did the vacuum line replacement. Only one question left. I'm getting a bit of hissing noise at about 4000 RPMs under full acceleration that I don't seem to remember from before. We did find one hose that was nearly off and others that were pretty loose and now they are all tight using silicon hose and tie wraps. The performance seems to be fine, but I'm still nervous about the hiss. Any idea what this is and if I should be worried? Thanks

Hissing noise

If you have an aftermarket intake, you'll hear it sucking air in and that can sound like it....
Also, check the little black box in front of the manifold (called a boost chamber something, it's used to keep boost pressure in the system). It has two boost hoses on the drivers side of it. They come off easily and sometimes the box itself can crack....

Well I feel pretty dumb right about now. Finally got my hissing problem fixed. When we did the vacuum hoses we also replaced the vacuum lines on the break master assist cylindar. We used silicon radiator hose as the replacement and of course never even thought about the check valve that is built into the OEM hose. Duh, well now at least everything is back the way it should be and we can finally write the project off as a success. Thanks for all the help.
