Sorry for the lame question re: rad caps

I searched for a while, but I have some questions on whcih cap is which. Is the ast cap the one everyone talks about the one on the drivers side that says don't remove?

Also, the stant cap, 227, does this replace the filler cap on the passenger side? What stant cap do I get for the ast? one on the driver side?

Also, is the one on the drivers side supposed to be hard to remove?

Thanks
Jeff

The cap on the AST (driver's side by intercooler) is aka the radiator cap. It should have a lever. The filler cap by the y-pipe crossover tube should look like a "typical" radiator cap. Both caps should be rated at 13 psi or 0.9 bar. All radiator caps should say "don't remove when hot".

Actually, does anyone know which one of which I want to get? Stock AST. I got the 11227 because I thought that was the one from rx7.com, but I'm not 100% sure it is.

Any help would be really appreciated.

Don't bother with replacing anything on the stock AST. Eliminate it or get an aluminum unit. Stock AST is an accident waiting to happen.
