sometimes lose boost in 4th gear@80mph..why???

sometimes lose boost in 4th gear@80mph..why???
well i was drivin the other night...and thought id stretch the cars legs and it did fine until 4th gear at 80mph...everything just wigged out....the bov blew off and it started revvin slow and barely got to 85 mph...it only does this everyonce in a while...if you can tell me why...or have any suggestions..please let me know....thanks

lol...well i shifted at about 6 grand...not gettin on it too hard...but when i went to 4th it stopped at 4k 80mph...what should i check for the boost leak....vaccum lines?
