Something's wrong...don't know what

Something is not right. Under wot in second gear car accelerates, than it decelerates (feels like when you let go of the pedal like it gets to the point where there isn't enough fuel being supplied, backfires, than get's going again. This happens around 5K rpm. It doesn't appear normal. Boost stays close to normal, no spikes or anything. Could it be the fuel filter or something. The other thing is that the car has been in storage for a little while, but I started it once every week. Should this just go away on it's own after driving for a while? or is it something more serious?

Mods: HKS intake, HKS dp, mp, rb catback. street poretd motor. I know I need the computer, but I'm saving up for it, as it is not cheap. For now I have a European computer in it from a 1993 FD, I don't know if it's JDM or not and if it's been reprogrammed. There are no stickers, except for the original mazda ones and nothing is written on it so I assume it was not reprogrammed. There doesn't seem to be a problem with boost, no spikes, it doesn't creep seems normal 10-8-10.

P.S. it's a 94 FD.

i would say maybe the plugs are bad? take them out and see what condition they are in.
