Something wrong with my friends Rex!!

My friend has a 60k mile 1994 RX-7 with a new motor with about 18000 on it. We were out and decided to give it a go for the fun of it. I have a 95 M3 with exhaust and a sound system, so that would have slowed me down, but i was walking away from him. He had little wheel spin, as i hoped through second and i was about half a car lenght ahead by 60. Normally most RX-7's i run with are even if not gaining when aero dynamics come in, but he should of had me. He said that he normally runs that way and that his boost was reading like 8-10-8 or soemthing like that. But i know he should have been with me so i wanted to see if you guys have that same experience.

Wes

Well do you have a track pipe on your M3. Because I know that 95 M3s with a track pipe make +26RWHP on a Mustang dyno. Also, your cars have a **** load of torque down low. If you out-launched him you are gonna take him because it is really hard for a car with similar acceleration to make that up. And normal boost for an FD is 10-8-10.
