Something is not right with my clutch setup!

Hey guys, so more problem, well never ending problem with my car it seems.
Finally got her started but now I have this horrible knocking/grinding noise coming from my bell housing, can anyone help me diagnose the problem before I pull out the motor to see what is the cause.

First I would remove the inspection plate on the transmission bellhousing and have a good look around. Maybe turn the motor over by hand and see if anything looks out of whack with the clutch or flywheel.

May have to pull the transmission and check things out.

Does sound like some part flopping and rattling around in the bellhousing. Hopefully not too bad of a fix save for having to pull the trans.

Thats for the reply, yeah Im hoping its just the pilot bearing that hasn't connected properly and the clutch plate is rattling around in there otherwise will pull it and see what the problem is.

Sounds horrible.
Did you just complete a part installation or anything else that's new?

I would def. look through the inspection plate to see if something on the pressure plate is wrong.

Any more info about what was done recently would be helpful.

Maybe the clutch disc was put in reversed. It can be done!

Found the issue, the release bearing was not connected to the pressure plate, clipped it in on Sunday and started her, no more noise, well a good noise now
