!!!!!SOMEONE, ANYONE, PLEASE HELP!!!!!...its kinda long but please read..
Ok, here is my delima.....
I have a greddy t78 single turbo kit. with all the bells and whistles. You name it I have it. Pulleys, Fuel Pump, 850cc Pri. and 1600cc Sec. injectors, Front mount intercooler, Downpipe, Midpipe, catback exaust, Apexi Power Fc, HKS twin power ignition, and Mild street port with upgraded 2mm apex seals.. My problem starts here.... MY CAR WON'T START!!! I have checked compression in each rotor housing, that is fine. (it surges above 80 on my compression tester) I have spark in all my plugs, but my car won't start. It cranks and cranks and cranks, but the damn thing will not turn over. I have been screwing with my car for about 10 months now. I have taken it to countless tuning mechanics around where I live(st. louis, MO.) and none of them can get this thing runing. I've noticed that in my workshop manual my timing for a stock car is 5 degrees for leading and 20 degrees for trailing. well on my power fc it shows my leading timing at 9 degrees and my trailing timing at 1 degree. I am thinking that is my problem, but then again I'm not sure. If it is my problem, could someone please tell me how to change the timing on the power fc. I haven't been able to figure it out yet. If that is not my problem could one of you lead me in the right direction on how to solve this ongoing headache? Thank you very much

I'm not an expert on timing, but that sounds like negative split which I think is not good. Try resetting your PFC to it's default maps and see if the car starts. I wouldn't drive it with the base maps if it does start, but at least you'll know what the problem was.
I tried the stock ecu. and nothing happened. it was sitting since late october or 2001. if you are inquiring about the fuel in it.... it is brand new... got it tonight actually. it burns through fuel like no other. i also have gone through about 5 sets of spark plugs because all the fuel just washed them out....... your next ?'s are probably about the engine being flooded.. i took the plugs out and the intake plennum off and let it air out for 2 1/2 days.. more than enough time to have fuel dry up. after that was done i put new plugs in and tried to start it and nothing happened... just cranked and cranked. Also. when i changed my oil, there wasn't much.(oil) it was mostly fuel.... by the way, thanks for the quick replies, i really appreciate it
Hey i don't know much about rx-7.. but i had that happened when i replace ECU... problem was couple of ECU wire came off from harness socket... i don't know this will help.. but check your ECU wire make sure all wire is in harness socket.

Yeah I was going to say it was flooded. I would think 2 1/2 days would be enough to let it dry out though. I'll tell you my story though.
My car was only on stock twins but it was sitting from augest until march. Of course I knew it wasn't going to start with the old plugs in it because when a FD(or maybe only mine) is sitting for a long time without starting it gets flooded very easily and won't start for the life of it. I pulled the plugs out and they were soaked in gas. So anyways I bought new plugs and installed them, it wouldn't start with those, pulled those out and those were soaked too. I ended up doing the "ATF trick" and it started right up. Who knows if that's the problem but it's something to think about trying if nothing else works.

Have you ran an Ohm meter on your Coil packs? You may have a bad coil pack which is not allowing any spark. I know on my 4-cylinders engines I would pull out a plug and attach it to the spark plug wire and crank it and see if it sparks. It seems like you have plenty of fuel but no spark. I would check all the engine grounds as well. Who knows? MAP sensor, anything else unplugged? Just ideas.

Call me tomorrow. 614-771-8966. I just finished installing a new motor in my car and had similar problems at first. I might be able to help.

You might try to make sure that your fuel pump is actually running properly. A friend of mine had a problem where a fuel pump relay went bad and so there was no fuel getting to the engine.
Aside from that, make sure that fuel is getting into the engine...the injectors are functioning, the fuel lines aren't crimped anywhere, etc. Since you have spark on all of your plugs, you still need fuel to make it go
Let us know how it goes...
