Awesome man, reminds me of Vince Brown's car. What happened to the black FD with ADR wheels?

My front lip is painted, it has a couple small rock chips and even a scrape, but nothing too noticeable unless you get close to it. IMO painting your front lip gives your car a completely different look. Much better then the stock black plastic look.

But back to the wheels; they look great. What tires did you decide to go with?

I traded the ADRs for these units. the wheels are 17x8f, 17x8r. Im running the bridgestone potenza RE-11 235/45/17 front, and 275/40/17 rear. these were used about 500miles before the guys car blew up, so the tires are like new.

Borbet wheels ? They are considered as budget (read low quality and heavy) wheels.
I dont get it why everyone is drooling about them

Did you weigh them ?

I personally think the style of the wheel looks nice on his FD, but your right, they are heavy. My brother has the EXACT same wheels on his cavalier, just smaller widths. The stock FD wheels with tires, are much MUCH lighter than these wheels without tires. I think the size of his are 17x7.

Honestly, unless someone is doing "time attacks" on the track, the weight is going to be meaningless.

The Borbet Type T (and TD) wheels are one of the few that really compliment the FD, especially without killing the wallet. They were my first choice in wheels. I just didn't get them because there was a group buy for them a few years ago here on the forum and a lot of members got them. So, I went a different route.

I'll attach a photo of a semi-local guys car who got them as well.
