Some of my recent polishing pics (56kno)

Here we have some of my recent polishing work for my friend victor (vel525 ) in chicago. I did the intake manifold X over pipe and intake. I put them on the car today.

What do you all think?

Here is the Intake and Manifold, sorry about no flash in the pics, it was to bright if we did it.

Then some random pics of chicago

and of course the best for last....

The elbow is gonna be a bitch to polish, considering it is plastic!

Very very nice job! Is it really hard to polish stuff or just plain time consuming?

Nice finish! How long did it take? I may have to do that, though it has been a long time since I really took the effort to polish something that well.

I'm just finishing my 23rd, and final piece, the alternator. If its aluminum, it's polished! Thinking back over the last 8 weeks, polishing is a serious bitch and I would choose to pay someone else if there would ever be a reason to do it again.

I should have pics in the next couple of weeks when I get my motor back in (after the porting is done ). No it didn't blow, just a pre-emptive strike/upgrade before the 106k miles catch up to it.

Mike

The polishing took a good bit of time. I did it all by hand (the sanding ). Many hours in the garage sanding away. To get it to shine well, I just used the buffer with White rouge and tripoly.

oh and, who says all 18 year old FD owners are worthless? :P
