Some Info and Pictures of Sunroof Drain Outlets and 1 Question

Just cleaned up the front drain hose and there sure was loads of debris (sand/dried leaves/nuts and bolts too) To access the front outlet simply remove fenders and voila here they are. In the picture you'll notice how it has "sunk" inwards which effectively allows water to puddle in the front. So clean them up real good and you're good to go.

My 1 question is, where the heck is the outlet for the rear drain? I'ce searched the rear wheel well and nothing. Could some kind soul help out.

Cheers.

Workshop is no help either.

where did you get that support bar? And how much does it help stiffen the front end of the vehicle?

Thanks mate. Do you have a picture of where exactly? Or maybe you can describe the location. I'm having trouble with the driver side rear sunroof drain. It is leaking into the driver side wheel well.

Look at the back of the car, under the little plastic trim triangle pieces. There should be one on each side of the car. They are held on by 3 screws. The screw closest to the front of the car should screw into a little white insert thing. Check to see if the rubber seal is still there. If not, try some rtv sealant there.

My car leaked CONSTANTLY back there. I could never figure it out. It would feel up my spare tire area, under the bins, and behind the back of my seats. All of that would be soaked after a good day of rain. I finally came upon a thread about it. So check those little white pieces of plastic that the screw goes into. There should be a black rubber seal/gasket under it.

Thanks gremlin. You're referring to the triangular piece thats accessible when the trunk is opened right? I'm gonna seal that ****** and see what happens.

Yeah underneath that thing. It's the white screw holder clip (closest to the front of the car) that just pops in there. Be gentle with it and pry it up, and apply some rtv on both sides. That's what I did at least and I haven't had any leaks since.

My '93 RX7 drips water from the sunroof onto the passenger seat when it rains. Can someone help me find the drain openings in the roof? Are there 2 or 4 of them?

Thanks - Jim

Bringing this back up. Cleaning mine out and noticed the passenger rear is plugged. Is that stock? Found the hose for the other 3 drains.
