Solenoid valve

The problem started when my check engine light came on. I checked it and it spit out the number 25 which is the solenoid valve. But I do not know where to go from there. The car seems to run fine. Also when I was checking under the hood there seem to be some sort of liquid sloshing around but the car was off and stationary. Thanks for the advice.. and yeah I have already searched and have had no luck.. what do i need to do

Well, having just checked all the solenoids under the rats nest, I can say you can do it with a batery and two leads. If they click under current, they should be good. But, its a lot of work to get at them unless you've pulled the motor or upper intake manifold. Good luck with it. Josh
