Sold the 240.....now I'm here

Car was very good to me. I hope the new owner takes care of it. Last few pic's before new owner picked it up. Oh...I kept the works.

Oh yes how rude.

94 FD
Sunroof ..no wing!!!! What model do I have?
Leather interior
Engine is fubar.....planning on sending out to pfsupercars next week.
greddy t-78 kit

This car was running at 17psi from what the previous owner told me. The drivers manual had a set of PFsupercars business cards, so I wonder if they put the engine together before.

touring has bose acoustic wave, PEP does not. PEP also doesn't have rear wiper and some other minor differences that i can't think of right now

General specs for RX-7s (3rd gens). see very bottom of page:
http://www.rx7.net.nz/usspec.htm

I do know the "infamous" bose acoustic speaker system in the trunk was removed by owners due to it's weight and horrendous-unpleasant-ugly-growth. It's funky in pictures but worse in person.

I'm not done with the s chassi

My daily vert

still needs coilovers and new tire, but it will do for now

The FD will see either a street port built + t78 or sell the t-78 kit and get a 20b

I'll be honest, the 240 has been the best car ive ever owned. I miss the k.

The first thing you'll learn about rx7's is that they're more expensive. Welcome aboard!

A few things...With no wiper and no bose and no fog lights and a sunroof and leather seats, it's MOST LIKELY a PEP/PEG. That said, it's easy enough to swap hatches, remove fog lights and remove the bose system.

What I can tell you is that since it has a sunroof it's definately not a base or an R1/R2. All models except for the R1/R2 came with cruise.

It's so easy to mix and match on these cars it's crazy to think that the different trim levels cost different ammounts when new, but after 14 years of playing parts trading you could take almost any trim level and make it something else.

Also, what kind of ECM are you running under the hood and who tuned it? If the car was indeed put together by PFS, I sincerely hope it doesn't have a purple box. if it does, that's probably a big reason why it blew.

I cant believe is already been 4 months. I've been busy ordering parts and putting the engine back together slowly. With all the great info this site has to offer I've been able get this back to what it is suppose to do. Kill on the track. I have to admit that I'm a total newb to these cars coming from the 240 world for 6 years now. I'm gaining more knowledge evry time i work on it. PIC'S

Engine has a streetport and polished
balance rotors
oil modified
new rear rotor housing
3mm apex seals
t78 greedy kit
apex PFC
Mocal 25 row oil coolers "thanks to the diy thread"

suspension:
stance coilovers
rotaryperfomance traction/toe arms
5 zigen mat black 17x10 +25

and a bunch of other stuff!!!!
