^ 2 horns $65.90 shipped. I didn't shop around, but felt this was decent.
I installed these on my lunch break (well my bumper is off at the moment)

don't mind all the other electrical stuff...it has nothing to do with the horns

they both fit in the stock locations with the stock bumper cover.

Hehe - I pioneered this one . I was wanting up upgrade the horns on my car, and one day realized that my wife's '95 Nissan Quest has some really decent sounding horns. Picked up both of them at the junkyard for like $2, put them on, good to go.

The '93-98 Nissan Quest and Mercury Villager are the same vehicle, there's usually a few at the junkyard, as they made a zillion of them. Most of them I've seen have already had the front bumper off - walk up, one 10mm bolt and one plug, and you have some horns.

Never thought me buying a Nissan Quest would result in an FD mod .

Dale

well then, thank you DaleClark
If I didn't feel so damn busy all the time for no good reason, I should have made a trip to a local yard.

yes...the stockers are very wimpy in comparison, and probably get muffled more with the cover on. I remember being in the cabin and barely hearing the stockers over road noise...I think these are high enough pitch to be heard over anything out there

^^^HAHAHAHAHAHAAAA!!!! those incredible..... I started thinking the same thing after I bought my FD (horns sucked) and looked into doing the air horns but thought it was overkill, although hilarious, and I also couldnt figure out how to mount all the equiptment. That is some quality stuff...

Anyways, the quest horns sound like a good upgrade....

I ended up relocating the driver's side horn b/c it can be seen through the oil cooler opening with the 99 spec front bumper. Was able to mount them both using stock threaded bolt holes, and using stock wiring.

Let it be noted that in my recent thread with install pics, I made sure to give big Dale his due credit

I figured that's why you put it there...I hate seeing the stock horns thru the 99 bumper covers. I wonder if Mazda placed the horns in different locations for the "harmony" ever hear just one horn?? pretty quiet...I smashed one on a bumper install.

I must have missed the credit to Mr. Clark
I knew people were asking about the tone, so I figured I'd posted it up.

There are some MASSIVE horns at Advance Auto that I've been thinking about getting. I may do this tomorrow since the guy at the desk said I can bring'em back if I didn't like'em.
