Well, it's almost middle of January! I thought the beast was going to be dynoed in December? I'm getting anxious!

The intake had to go back to Hogan's. Most speed shops seem to close down around the holidays and take awhile to get back up to speed, so apparently they're expecting it back any day. The motor is sitting waiting for the intake so that it can go on the dyno.

I'm debating now whether or not to have the nitrous system plumbed and tuned while they've still got it. After watching TF&TF, you know I had to get me some NOSS!

Nope.

NAWS = nozz, as in JAWS (jawz)

NOSS = noss, as in... noss.

I told my engine builder I need a Spoon engine and some NOSS.

I can see it now...Fast & Furious II:

Jim's car rolls into the scene, sounding much like a kawasaki bike motor, as someone proclaims, "look, its a TWO ROTOR!", oohhs and awws as the camera zooms in on his N20 setup in the trunk. Five 2-litre sized bottles in the back with greddy boost gauges on top of each. Jim parks the car, gets out. Everyone gathers around to see what's under the hood. Jim pops it, and reveals his custom hybrid supercharged/twin-turbo charged B16A with a Haltech exhaust, iceman intake, and quadruple fogger system. Jim looks for a race, proclaiming, "I don't have any cash ( ) but I do have the pink slip to my Pee-Wee Herman Bicycle!".....................

Jim..
You have the boss'es So just shuddup and do the NOS now! Its safer to do it now *can be simiulated better* and it should be tuned better!

Even if you turn it off its going to be fast.. biut with it plumbed you can have it when needed and save $$ down the line!

We're plumbing the intake regardless, because it's a lot easier to do it now, but we're also going to tune it on the dyno starting with a 200 shot and working up from there. You can only go so small with a direct port system, hence the starting point.

did anyone else notice that in F&F the animated scene in the beginning where you go through the rx7s rotory engine shows the 3 rotors instead of 2

Not that I know tons about hondas but Spoon Sports and I think just about all the cars they build are N/A meaning they run on all motor. I hate that **** in the movie when the guys like...

"He came in and ordered 3 Spoon engines, 3 t66 turbos with NOSS(like it's an option on the turbo) and a motec exhaust" WTF?? Only one exhaust???

And whoever starts Motech Exhaust company would probably make some serious dough off of ricers..
